Objectives

Intelligent System for the Monitoring and Diagnostic of the Electrical Equipment - SIMDE

General objectives specified in the proposed project are:

the capacity´s increasing of the Research-Development-Innovation units to accumulate knowledges, results and experience in the research direction 2. Energy, priority themes 2.1. "Durable power systems and technologies; power system´s security" and to deliver and transfer its to intern economic and social environment in order to increase their competitively;
the optimal capitalisation of a high level scientific and technological potential from the M&D field of electrical equipment;
the development of Romanian research, in mentioned field, in order to increase the integration in international community of the excellency research teams;
the support, in the mentioned field, for the realisation of a research network and it activity to reach the excellency level, recognised in conformity with international standards.

Quantifiable specific objectives , of the proposed grant, dedicated to solve the above enumerated tasks, are the following:

the elaboration of some new principles and methods for monitoring, diagnostic and switching of the switchgears (circuit breakers);
the design of intelligent system for on-line monitoring and diagnostic of circuit breakers;
the realisation, checking and testing in installation of the system;
the performances evaluation, the acknowledge and technological transfer of the system;
the increasing of RDI results visibility in the M&D field at the level of scientific and economical community;

The duration of the project: 09.2007-07.2010.
